Stuck at home? Can’t get to your favourite exercise class?

I can help:

I haven’t been able to get to the gym this week, so I’ve done some HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) at home.

Try this 30 min HIIT – no equipment needed, just a decent pair of trainers:

Once you have warmed up, perform all exercises, one after the other, starting with 1 repetition of each exercise
Rest 30 sec, then repeat with 2 repetitions of each exercise
Keep going for 30 mins, increasing your repetitions by 1 for each round i.e. round 3 = 3 reps; round 4 = 4 reps

Burpee
Squat
Push up
Lunge – 1 each leg
Tricep dip (use a chair or bench)
Star jump
Step up – 1 each leg (challenge yourself – try to find a high step or bench, just make sure it’s stable)
Squat jump
Ab curl
30 sec skipping (or high knees on the spot – FAST)

If you’re unsure of any of these exercises, call me or google them.  Form is key, so make sure you take the time to brace your pelvic floor and breathe evenly throughout your workout.
